World-renowned burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese doesn’t think that anyone should be taking waist training notes from the Kardashians. They may have started a recent corset fad, but the long-time advocate of the garment does not think that their methods are necessarily effective.
“It’s like the blind leading the blind,” said Von Teese as she talked to the Huffington Post about the Kardashian waist training phenomenon. “I'm seeing some of these corsets that they are saying are waist shapers and I'm like, 'That doesn't work.' They're like stretchy fabric,” she continued.
